- Start with a 2.5 in x 3.5 in (6.4 cm x 8.9 cm) white card blank
- Print the words
|
Horse Silhouette |
|
|
|
- Print and Cut out the horse silhouette
- Note: I do not know where I got the horse image - I have not been able to find it since I used it for the initial SWAP. If you are the owner of this image and would like me to link to your site or do not wish for me to share the image please contact me.
- Using a decoupage glue (or white elmers glue - 2 parts glue to 1 part water) cover the horse and the entire ATC with the decoupage medium.
- The black ink from the horse silhouette will bleed a little, but this was a happy surprise and adds to the overall effect.
- Let dry completely before adding the quilled elements
- Note: the ATC may want to curl a bit, if it does, place it under heavy object until ready to apply the quilling

Quilling |

- 8 - 6 in ( cm) Fringed Strips White 1/8 in ( cm) wide paper
- Create 8 fringed flowers by rolling the paper into a tight roll and then gently pressing on the fringes to make the flowers as shown.
- 10 - 4 in ( cm) White Teardrops for flower petals
- Arrange 5, glued at the tip (pointed end) to make flower
- You will make 2 of these
- Add a Crystal in the center for added sparkle
- Arrange the flowers as shown

This is still one of my favorite ATCs of all time. Something about the way the black bled into the background of the ATC and the way the flowers became the mane of this very proud stallion.
